SDS Silesia Defence Systems
History and Development (30 Years of Experience)

The companies associated in the SDS Group build on more than 30 years of industrial and engineering experience in the areas of heavy production, welded structures, rail technology, energy and special technological equipment.
Individual companies were established in different time periods and historical contexts, with some of them being incorporated into the holding in a phase of significant operational, technical or organizational weakening. SDS took over, stabilized and systematically restructured these companies – technically, procedurally and in terms of personnel – and brought them to a level corresponding to the current requirements of the regulated industry.
The development of the holding is based on:
- Renewal of production capacities
- Investments in technology and quality
- Implementation of standardized production and control processes
- Long-term building of professional teams
Today, SDS represents a stable industrial entity capable of long-term cooperation with the state administration, armed forces and strategic partners.
